Welcome to the homepage for Dr. Grow's CHEMISTRY 1046 at Pensacola Junior College.   On this page, you will be able to find pertinent course materials such as syllabi, handouts, problem sets, and previously-given exams.

This course, a continuation of Chemistry I, consists of a modern survey of the basic principles of chemistry with an emphasis on the forces in solids and liquids, solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry.  Mastery of basic algebra skills with an understanding of logarithms is essential for successful completion of this course. As the prerequisite for this course is General Chemistry I, a knowledge of the basic concepts covered in Chemistry I is essential before beginning this difficult course.  Meets A.A. general education category VII.
