All College Day (ACD) is a workday where faculty and staff have an opportunity to participate in workshops and other activities.  ACD is designed to be a fun-filled day where PJC employees can become engaged in active learning opportunities.

Workshops will be held in several buildings on the Pensacola campus.  Please refer to the workshop schedule for specific locations.

Yes, all full-time faculty and staff are required to participate.  Many faculty and staff find it challenging to attend in-service workshops throughout the year.  ACD is an opportunity to put appointments and work aside and focus on professional development.

Participants who attend “Lunchtime Learning” sessions will receive a complimentary box lunch.  Otherwise lunch is on your own.

All Keegan employees are invited to attend All College Day.  Keegan employees will not be paid for the day.

The deadline for submitting proposal to present a workshop during All College Day has passed.  Deadlines for next year’s All College Day will be posted on the website during the fall semester.  In addition, email announcements will be posted to the PJClist.

All College Day will be presented once every academic year.  ACD for the 2008-2009 academic year will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009.

All adjunct faculty teaching this semester are invited to attend All College Day.  Adjuncts will not be paid for attending All College Day.

All College Day is the perfect opportunity for everyone in attendance to show their PJC spirit by wearing something with PJC on it. It can be a t-shirt, lapel pin, hat, jacket, shirt or whatever has the PJC logo. Perhaps a backpack, wrist band or tote bag will do. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate pride in PJC.

In response to feedback from last year’s All College Day, participants overwhelmingly requested additional time to network with colleagues.  Also, participants requested additional time to proceed to workshops and arrive on time.  This year’s schedule was adjusted to address this request.
