Some Information About My Academic Background ...Prior to my arrival in the United States, I worked as the Administrative Assistant to the President at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. I have been in the academic field all my life, either as a student, an instructor, or an administrator. I received my B.A. in English Literature, M.ED. in Educational Administration, B.S. in Systems Science, M.S. in Systems Analysis, and ED.S. in Instructional Technology. Currently, I am working on my dissertation for my doctoral degree. Let Me Tell You About My Job ...I have been teaching at Pensacola Junior College since 1984 and right now I am a full professor in the Department of Computer Science. My teaching responsibilities at PJC include distance learning online courses and face-to-face classes. I am a Microsoft certified MOUS instructor and a mentor in the Microsoft Mentor Program to train other faculty members on using technology in the classroom. I design and develop web-based instruction at PJC. In addition, I teach Computer Concepts and Applications (Windows XP and Office XP), Computer Programming, Microcomputer Operating Systems, and Web Site Design and Development.
