Complete the following exercise in Interactive Labs after you finish reading the chapter.

To start a Shelly Cashman Series Interactive Lab, complete the step that applies to you.
Running from the World Wide Web: Enter the URL, www.scsite.com/sclabs/menu.htm and click the LAB button for the lab you want to complete.
Running from a CD-ROM: Insert the Shelly Cashman Series Labs with Audio CD in your CD-ROM drive.
Running the No-Audio Version from a Hard Disk or Network: Click the Start button on the taskbar, point to Shelly Cashman Series Labs on the Programs submenu, and click Interactive Labs.
When the Shelly Cashman Series IN THE LAB screen displays, if necessary maximize the window, and then follow the instructions on the screen to start the using the lab you want to complete.
When the Lab screen displays, if necessary maximize the window, and then read the objectives.
Follow the instructions on the screen to print the questions associated with the lab or you can print the questions by clicking on the links in the first column of the table above.
Follow the instructions on the screen to continue in the lab.
When completed, follow the instructions on the screen to terminate the lab.
Use WordPad, or Notepad, or Microsoft Word to type your answers to the questions printed in step 4 with proper heading. For example:

Assignment #1 (Type your name here) Lab 1: Connecting to the Internet
Lab 2: Understanding the Motherboard

Save your file as Assignment1 on your hard disk or floppy disk. Save constantly! Don't wait till you finish the entire assignment before you save the file! And you don't have to do all of the labs at one time. However, remember to save your file before your quit.
Open your Assignment1 whenever you want to continue to type your answers.
Save again as Assingment1 after you complete your assignment 1.
Email your assignment1 as an email attachment to your instructor at llemley@pjc.edu.
Please use "Your Section #, Assignment 1, Your Name" as your Subject when your create your email.
