PowerPoint
Template Download Instructions
Note: The
following instructions are for downloading PowerPoint templates only.
In PowerPoint, templates are identified as .pot (PowerPoint
templates), not .ppt (PowerPoint presentations).
Using
Internet Explorer
If you are
using Internet Explorer to download these templates, you'll need to save
the files with a .pot extension. Directions are below.
- Click
on the template link.
- Choose
Save this file to disk and click OK.
- Navigate
to where you'd like the template saved. To place it in the default template
file, navigate to your C drive, go to Programs, go to Microsoft Office,
then to Templates, then to Presentation Designs.
- In the
Save as type box, click on the drop down arrow and choose All Files.
- Change
the file extension from .ppt to .ppt

Click
on the Save button to save the template to your computer.
IMPORTANT
STEP: Before saving you'll need to first change the template's extension
from .ppt to .pot (see graphic below)
Using
Netscape

Click
on the template link.
- Choose
Save it to disk and click OK.
- Navigate
to where you'd like the template saved. To place it in the default template
file, navigate to your C drive, go to Programs, go to Microsoft Office,
then to Templates, then to Presentation Designs.
