the first time during the Spring 2005 term. It is designed
to acquaint students with the problems encountered in aircraft
emergencies and disasters. The properties of aviation
fuels are examined, as are various types of explosive ordinance
found in military craft. Also examined are the methods of
extrication of victims from passenger aircraft.

A.A.S. only. This course covers the broad concept of
supervision and leadership needed in the Fire Service
organization and the relationship of various roles found in the
Fire Department. Emphasis will be placed on communication
skills, motivation and group dynamics.
