Underwriting Information:
A. In order for an
organization to be billed for student fees, the organization must be
established as an underwriter with the College. A letter is required
from the organization requesting to be set up as an underwriter.
The letter must be written/typed on company letterhead and signed by
the person authorizing payment of the fees. The letter may be mailed
or faxed to the Bursar; fax (850) 484-1548.

A
letter which lists the charges authorized is required each time students
register and fees are underwritten. (It is
best if the College receives the letter before the student arrives
to register, so the account can be set up in advance.) The letter must be written/typed on company
letterhead and signed by the person authorizing payment of the fees.
The letter must include the students names and social security
numbers and specify the authorized charges, such as:

Course fees - list course number(s),
section number(s) and starting date(s) if known

Application fees - required upon
student's initial application to the College (one-time charge)

Late fees - required when registering
for credit courses during late registration

-
Supplies

The underwriter may allow students to
register for courses following a particular program or simply limit
the student(s) to a specific dollar amount.
NOTE: A purchase order may be
issued as long as it includes the above information.
C. Students must follow
established registration procedures and will receive a class/fee
schedule stating any fees due after deducting authorized charges.
The student must pay the balance appearing on the fee schedule, if
any, in order for registration to be complete.
D. Invoices will be mailed after
registration and payment is due upon receipt.
