Getting Started with MathXL - Registration Directions

Quizzes: I will record the HIGHEST score that you earn on a given quiz. Each quiz contains the same types of problems, but the numbers are changed and items are shuffled each time you re-take it.

You can take the quizzes any time of the day or night, on any computer connected to the internet.  However, it may be necessary to download (free) plug-ins for your browser in order to view the questions correctly.  The plug-ins are found on the MathXL website.

In order to take the on-line quizzes, you must first register for your course using the Student Access Code (found in the MathXL packet that came with your book).  You only have to register once with your Student Access Code, thereafter, you can just login using your Login Name and Password.

Your LoginName is usually your e-mail address.
Passwords are case sensitive: ex) Password, PassWord and password are all different.
Be sure to write down your Login Name and Password on the lines below - it's easy to forget them.

Lastly, don't wait until the last minute to take your quizzes - there are always computer problems when you're in a hurry.  You normally have 2 - 3 weeks to complete each quiz. Start early!
