MAT0024 - College Prep Algebra

Welcome to MAT0024. College Prep Algebra is a college preparatory course designed to provide a solid foundation in basic algebra. This introductory algebra course will teach students the basics of signed numbers, solving equations, problem solving, exponents, factoring, graphing and radicals. The skills learned here are the fundamentals for all the other math courses. Upon completion of this course, students will move on to MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra, which will expand on the topics covered in College Prep Algebra. |

| Daily Schedule: MW - I provide a tentative daily schedule that I need to follow in order to complete the course by the end of the semester. Actual sections covered on a particular date as well as test dates may change as needed during the semester, depending on circumstances. | |
| Homework Problems - A list of selected problems from the text that you are to work out after each section is covered in class. I also listed the worksheets that you are to turn in with your homework. I included lines under "Other" for you to record any additional worksheets that I may pass out. | |
| GRADING POLICY for Exit Courses / Exit Tests - This is an outline of the grading policy for students who must pass the College Prep Algebra Exit Test at the end the course in order to move on to MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra. | |
