Welcome to MAT0024C.
Beginning Algebra
is a college preparatory course designed to provide a solid foundation
in basic algebra. This introductory algebra course will teach students
the basics of signed numbers, solving equations, problem solving,
exponents, factoring, graphing and radicals. The skills learned
here are the fundamentals for all the other math courses. Upon completion
of this course, students will move on to MAT 1033 - Intermediate
Algebra, which will expand on the topics covered in Beginning
Algebra.
